7 alleys
Right in the Museum District you will find a cozy little neighborhood, popularly called ‘The 7 alleys’. Indeed 7 small streets are the beating heart of this remarkable popular neighbourhood. Have a look when the Dutch national soccer team is playing and you will notice that the streets are decorated in a cheerful orange color: the residents literally take their enthusiasm to the streets. In summertime the residents prefer outside life.
The houses in the seven alleys date from the 19th century and were originally intended for workers.
